Hi people,
today I address to you in a post I hoped to never do. What djfade wrote at a comment seems true. While I didn’t see the post, I googled around today because I wanted to contact Nuke on a status update - I was also wondering why things took longer than expected. And well.. “Undelivered mail returned to sender” on Nuke’s Wii based e-mail addresses. I now contacted some other addresses which I am not sure if I am able to reach him with. In any case.
Nuke, if you’re reading this: I and I guess many other people - we won’t stand stand in your way. It hurts me personally to see you passing but things probably have to be taken as they come - it it still sad to admit the truth.
You’ve done things for the scene noone else would have been capable of. There is no device like the USB Gecko. Without your help, WiiRd wouldn’t exist - without it, Wii hacking wouldn’t be where it is now. And I guess I may also say: Without it Wii homebrew wouldn’t either be where it is as of now! Kudos to you!
And on another note: you are an awesome guy in general - the rare chats with you were nice, funny and everything.
You will be missed - by many.
Yours,
Link!

Jassim: if gecko os didnt exist, i would never have gotten homebrew (along with most members at the wiird community) thanks nuke, the homebrew community is really sucking without you so please do come back.
and thank you
djdynamite123: Very true with what’s been said above, I only came into this side of homebrew in august 08 as I started to play my wii again and all i got was 001 and error after updating to 3.3v1, then i was linked to homebrew via my brother, then i found “region free” geckoOS my most used app.
Such a shame, this scene is a joke, it’s like no other. pathetic.
Good Look Nuke
memorris: Well Nuke it has been fun having you around. I thank you for all your hard work on the software for the USB Gecko. I have learned a lot from you and the usbgecko community that i am very grateful for.I would of never installed or used Homebrew. if it was not for the usbgecko. All of the Homebrew owes you a lot for what you have done thank you.
I agree with all the comments above especially by djdynamite 123
this scene is a joke there are too many ass holes in it.
If you have left i wish you well and all the best for the future.
If not well i still appreciate all that you have done
thank you Nuke
all the best memeorris
hetoan2: Nuke,
You can’t leave the scene.
People love your work and Gecko OS has pretty much made the homebrew scene what it is today. People don’t give you the respect you deserve, but because of you there is a community of 2,000+ people who love codes. Weather it’s making codes, or just using them we all came together because of Gecko OS. You shouldn’t let one asshole convince you to leave the scene. We were all looking forward to Gecko 2.0 and even if you dont release it we’d love to see you back. Even if you decide not to release it or ever work on it again I still think that you should hang around.
If you don’t wish to host the forums I will buy my own site and vBulletin board with your permission so that I can host wiiRD forums once again. I’m glad you were going to take over the forums, but If you are going to leave the scene please make a formal announcement of some kind to let us know.
I already have a backup of the wiiRD forums so just give me the word and i’ll start hosting it myself
(probably not as good as it could be though)

sarkwalvein: @Nuke: I still hope you come back to the scene… I’ve really enjoyed hacking around with the usbgecko and geckoos… And geckoos 2.0 was my most awaited homebrew release…
Anyway, thanks for everything… And good luck whatever road you choose to follow…
ZiT:Nuke,
A lot of fans of Nuke are in Japan.
Moreover, I am one person in that.
It is a thing without the method though used for the thing that GeckoOS of Nuke doesn’t anticipate.
A completeness and expensive product becomes good and evil depending on the user.
However, it is a thing without the method.
I want you to carry out your road Nuke.
Please revive!!!
We are waiting sincerely for your revival!!!!
Romaap:I have nothing to add.
Nuke, you are great.
Thanks for everything you’ve done so far.
I hope you’ll come back but it’s you own choice.
ssbbdude57: Well, if it wernt for Nuke i wouldnt of gotten Homebrew casue i really wanted to use/make hacks, so thanks for even making this possible. Well it is a shame to see this end so quickly =[ well overall Thanks Nuke…Thanks for everythink
Y.S.: @Nuke
Thank you for all your hard work.
I remember when I first sent you an e-mail
about the code handler.
I was so proud that the code handler included
with your Gecko RF.
Thanks again!
picano: What everyone else said!
I got my USB Gecko long before I had any idea how to properly utilize it… still don’t really. But, without your device I wouldn’t be enjoying Brawl hacking as much as I do now!
Sure… I still can’t make a halfway decent code but… thanks to your stuff, and help from Igglyboo, I’m making Brawl textures ever chance I get!
agrs700: Nuke, you can’t leave us as this…
Everyone is waiting for gecko 2.0 and the forums. If you have quitted the scene it’d be coz of personal problems
PS: I suspect nintendo is behind this

Link reply: Nuke mentioned on the tehskeen.com forums that one of the main problems will be the coming up BootMii - Team Twiizers is trying to realize IOS free program code which would render Gecko OS unusable - as BootMii is not out, I cannot say that it will happen like this - on some note however, Nuke is kinda correct in the way a certain team is pretending as if they are the rulers of Wii homebrew (yes, they are awesome coders and we certainly wouldn’t be where we are now without them).
Blaster99: Nuke,
please do not let this great project die. There are better ways of getting a timeout.
Thanks to you we are what we are now: a great community.
Please think about your decision. We are looking forward to welcoming you back
Thanks for everything
