I am on win xp sp1 and on 32bit. USB Gecko is about 13 feet from me and I use 15 ft usb cable. I just tried this newest version. It still loops and take cpu It don't let me change tabs or click on the buttons. I kill wiirdgui by taskmgr and I can't kill wiirdw32.exe in taskmgr with anything.

Does this change the footprint size of WiiRD in the Wii's RAM at all? Specifically, does it effect where Ocarina (which uses WiiRD) starts the code list in the game header? (It may corrupt my Zelda TP USA v2 Master Code if it does, that is why I ask)

The newest version seems to be fine in regards to my last post. My only gripe now is, could we please get a minimize button and make it not always on top?

Isn't there a "minimize" button on the bottom of the wiirdgui console ? I used stay on top because I usually have a lot of windows open, and it was a pain to search for wiirdgui window all the time. Also I believe that if the gui isn't on the top, it would have problems communicating with wiird (but I might have to test it again).
@mouse : and the old wiird works fine ? If not, try another (smaller?) cable, check all the connections...

I don't suppose for the next update there could be a "copy to clipboard" to go with the "paste from clipboard" button? Sometimes it gets annoying having to copy a code a half line at a time to post it on the boards - especially when I make something like a 70 line super code:confused

If you wanna post a code, you just have to open the cheats folder, all the cheats are in a text file. Maybe I could put a 'open cheat file' button, which would open the text file with notepad ?

What would the best version for me to have be, as I want it to be compatible with TP? I currently have the version before the latest one.

Hi Link. I thought: why doesn't Link put an 'always on top' option on WiiRD? I think it's boring that wiird window always on top and I'm too lazy to click the minimize button... Thanks for your hard work....

New version see first post!
The Always on Top option was set by kenobi not by me.. the current version still has it, maybe we just give you the option.

Hi Link the files in the first post could not be found. The requested file could not be found. Thank you, my DNS setting was faulty and therefore they worked here.. and only here. Now they should!

It would be cool if there was a function to arrange the addresses found with the codesearch by old value or new value, instead of address. so if you click on the text "old value" above the old values it arranges them by old value.

Because the way wiirdgui is coded, it's not possible to sort by old values (or new values). The code values are not stored into memory, they are readen by wiirdguy "on the fly" from the ram dump each time a new page of the codesearch is displayed. So I can't sort the results by code value.
However, if you're searching for a specific value, make a known search. Then if you want to try another value, just click the "undo" button, and make another specific value search.

a function to save the codes in //folder of wiird/saves/[gamecode]/"name you type in a inputbox".bin instead of just save01, so you can find them later, and you know what each save is, and form wich game
