since my last thread was mostly ignored, let me ask this:

if i uninstall and delete:

Homebrew
BootMii (should i still need this?)
DVDX (even though i dont need the last one)

can i freely update? (via Nintendo or Wii Game disc)

right now i have a rental game that requires an update but im not sure if ill just end up semi/fully Bricking my Console if i do

(even though ive done some research and it states the a Wii would most likely Brick if you have the Wii Homebrew Channel installed, unless thats incorrect)

p.s. i would really appreciate it if this was answered asap

Just use Gecko OS to run the game and if it requires a new IOS use dopIOS to download and install it

If there's any code at all that you want to be button activated, or even able to toggle on & off, and I have the game, just PM me and I'll make it happen

You could also install Preloader which can block the updates, but i never used it so i'm not sure how to use it.
