I tried the "Force PAL 60 HZ" for my NTSC Wii and still got a black screen...although the game was playing...am I doing something wrong here??

is your tv pal or ntsc ? what about the game ? is it euro or us ?
if you are trying to force ntsc games in pal 60 for a pal tv on a ntsc wii I got the same issues with the wii gecko os Sad

Have you altered the settings in the wii system setting for the tv type..

Its a PAL GC Game running on an NTSC Wii and NTSC TV US and normally just shows a black screen with sound. I have loaded it before with the GCOS Sdload method with Forced 60 HZ Pal and it worked. I didnt see anything about TV type settings in the Gecko OS config menu. I'll take a look again this evening..

I choose Force 60 Hz PAL and Get a green screen...although...I can load a disc of the old GCOS Multigame by emu_kidid force PAL 60 on that and it works....but I cant use WIIRD if I boot it that way...

I got this to work using the GC OS Version 1.06d Fixed,but I had to force NTSC instead of Force PAL 60...I found this kind of odd because I have a US NTSC Wii and NTSC TV and thought I would have to force PAL 60 mode,unless this is backwards in the program itself..Huh?
