I'm sorry, I meant like you know how you make custom character textures with a modded Brawl game? I didn't know that was illegal, and the code PW is confusing Embarrassed

For some reason codetype 86T2 keeps crashing on me. I could circumvent it by storing the value of the address in a separate Gecko Register, but I'd rather not.

EDIT: Codetype A6 does not work at all. In fact, the Gecko register compares just don't work.

Your problem might be that you're giving it a value when it's expecting an address, double check that you're using them right, anything inside [] is an address, if it isn't a valid address the game will crash instantly.

Yeah, I found out (or rather, a certain Jedi Knight told me) that 86T2 actually adds the base address to it. So, I just got an easier way to do certain things, and my code can now be optimized.

Thanks, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

EDIT:

For A6, it's both an error on my side as well as an error on GeckoOS. Apparently A6 is a greater than, and A4 is a lower than, instead of the other way around.

EDIT2:

I found that the Gecko Register starting adress is 80001808 instead of 80001804.

I found that the Gecko Register starting address is 80001808 instead of 80001804.

And keep in mind that starting address can change between Gecko OS versions, like earlier it was 80001804, then 08 and then 0C, so you should NOT point directly to register address inside your ASM as it can differ depending on the version and thus cause crashes on users who dont have same gecko OS version than you have.
